How do free trials work?

A parent books a trial in about 90 seconds. Their card is held, not charged. After the session, Kelvo turns them into a paying member — automatically after a cancel window, or with one tap from an email. You decide which.

Can it do memberships, camps, 1-to-1s and termly billing?

Yes — all of them, on one booking site. Rolling memberships across several classes, pay-once camps (“three days, pick any two”), packs of 1-to-1 slots, termly blocks with pro-rata joining, and one-off drop-ins. Each class chooses how it is sold.

Is it really 4.9% and nothing else?

Kelvo charges 4.9% on each transaction and nothing else — no monthly fee, no setup fee, no per-seat charges, no contract. Card processing is handled by Stripe and billed by them at their standard UK rate (currently 1.5% + 20p for UK cards), the same as you would pay running Stripe on your own. When your classes are quiet, you pay nothing.

We already have a website — do we have to replace it?

No. Keep it. Your booking site lives on your own subdomain (yourname.kelvo.co) and you link to it from your site, or pull your live classes, prices and “Book now” links straight into your own pages with the Kelvo API. Parents land on your branded pages either way.

How do we move our schedule and members across?

We do it with you. Send us an export from whatever you use today — a spreadsheet is fine — and we set up your classes, plans and members so parents can book from day one. Most academies are live within days, not weeks.
