Cookie policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Kelvo uses on our marketing site (usekelvo.com) and on organisation booking sites at *.kelvo.co, and how you control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
The two categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required to run the site: signing in, keeping you signed in, and session continuity. These are set without consent because the service cannot work without them. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site will break.
- Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are only set once you accept. Until then, and if you reject, no analytics cookies are stored.
Your choice, and how to change it
When you first visit we ask for your consent to analytics cookies. We use Google Consent Mode: analytics storage stays denied until you accept, so nothing is stored on your device beforehand. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies”link in the footer — withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Your preference is remembered in your browser’s local storage (itself strictly necessary).
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication / session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in and secures your session. | Session / up to 30 days |
_ga, _ga_<id> | Analytics (consent) | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors and sessions to measure usage. | Up to 2 years |
Google Analytics
We run two separate Google Analytics 4 properties: one for the marketing site and one for the organisation booking sites (*.kelvo.co). Analytics data is associated with the organisation whose site you are on so each academy’s usage can be measured separately. Google acts as our processor for this data; see how Google uses data and the Google Analytics opt-out. We do not use Analytics for advertising or remarketing.
